Hi — I’m Wanda.

Thank you for joining Liberating Living Weekly. I’ve spent 20+ years helping people align faith and finances so freedom isn’t theoretical — it’s lived. Each Sunday I’ll send one short spiritual practice, a simple money move you can automate, and a podcast highlight to guide the week.

Awareness is only half the journey. In Episode 6, Part 2, we move into action. You’ll learn practical and spiritual tools to build strong energetic boundaries so you can stop energy drain and live in peace and purpose. Remember, boundaries aren’t barriers; they’re bridges to a life lived in alignment with the purpose God planted inside you.

Why This Matters

Awareness is powerful, but without action, the leaks keep happening. Boundaries are the bridge between knowing what drains you and living in alignment with your purpose. Psychology studies show that people who actively practice boundary-setting report less stress, higher resilience, and greater life satisfaction. Spiritually, boundaries create space for clarity and joy to flow. When you put your awareness into practice, you protect your peace and step fully into your purpose.

Without boundaries, even the most meaningful parts of life—family, work, faith, and community—can quietly drain the spark that makes you whole. Setting boundaries isn’t selfish; it’s sacred stewardship. Your time, energy, and purpose deserve protection so you can show up with strength, clarity, and joy.

Spiritual Practices

Take three minutes right now. Sit comfortably with your feet on the floor and your hands resting gently in your lap. Close your eyes. Inhale slowly through your nose and imagine golden light filling your chest. As you exhale through your mouth, picture that golden light expanding outward, wrapping around you like a shield.

With every breath, repeat softly to yourself:

  • Inhale: “I am safe.”

  • Exhale: “My energy is mine.”

  • Inhale: “My peace is protected.”

Stay with this rhythm for three minutes. This short practice calms your nervous system, recenters your spirit, and reinforces your boundary as a sacred container for peace.

5-minute Journaling Prompt

After the practice, grab your journal and write freely in your response:

Where in my life do I need to set one clear boundary this week, and what words or actions will I use to honor it?”

Write without censoring yourself. Don’t worry about sounding “right.” Instead, let Spirit guide the pen. You may uncover surprising areas — even in places you thought you were strong. Boundaries start with honesty, and your journal is a safe place to tell the truth.

Your finances need boundaries too.

Let’s carry the same principle into your finances. Create a Courage Fund Boundary. Each day this week, move $5 into a separate account or envelope.

This is not just “saving money.” It’s teaching your mind and spirit: “I choose protection over depletion.” The act of setting money aside reinforces the same skill you’re building with your energy — drawing a line that guards your future. 7-Day Micro-Challenge

Your “Energetic Locks” Practice

Protecting your energy is a daily choice. For the next seven days, practice saying one intentional “Not right now” each day.

It doesn’t have to be dramatic — it can be as simple as:

  • Saying no to that late-night email.

  • Choosing rest instead of another errand.

  • Pausing before automatically agreeing to someone else’s plan.

Write down each moment you said “Not right now” and notice how your body felt afterward. Did you feel lighter? More in control? This challenge trains your spirit to honor boundaries consistently, not just when you’re already overwhelmed.

Deeper exercise — Naming & Counter-Truth

(10 minutes total)

This week, write your own Boundary Prayer or Affirmation. Keep it short, personal, and powerful. Example:

“God, surround me with light. I welcome love and release what drains me. My boundaries are sacred, and I honor the calling within me.”

Read it out loud each morning before you begin your day. Speak it with conviction. Over time, this daily repetition reprograms your mind and spirit to see boundaries not as guilt, but as sacred protection.
