Hi — I’m Wanda.
Thank you for joining Liberating Living Weekly. I’ve spent 20+ years helping people align faith and finances so freedom isn’t theoretical — it’s lived. Each Sunday I’ll send one short spiritual practice, a simple money move you can automate, and a podcast highlight to guide the week. Today’s issue is the fuller version of our first post: practical, research-aware, and designed to be used.
There’s a moment in every transformation where you feel in between who you were and who you’re becoming.
Not quite where you were.
Not quite where you’re going.
That “in-between” space?
It’s not failure. It’s not confusion.
It’s integration.
You’ve been walking with us through Mindset Reset: Perspective-Taking for Spiritual Purpose & Prosperity, and this week, we’re preparing for Part 3 of this journey, dropping on Wednesday.
Before we go deeper, I want to pause with you and do something most people skip:
“Make room in your mind, body, and schedule for the shift you say you want.”
Because you can’t invite a new mindset into a cluttered inner space.

Why This Matters
Mindset work isn’t just about thinking better thoughts.
It’s about creating room for a new internal story to actually live.
If you say you want clarity, but your mind is crowded with old narratives…
If you say you want peace, but your schedule is packed with obligations that drain you…
If you say you want wealth, but your habits are anchored in survival mode…
Then your desire and your reality are arguing with each other.
Spiritual Practices
Transformation doesn’t begin with the change itself — it begins with you settling into who you’re becoming.
1. Witness & Name (10 minutes). Light a candle or sit with a warm cup. Write down three areas you can .
2. The Release Breath (3 deep breaths). On each inhale, imagine drawing in light.
On each exhale, imagine releasing what you don’t need anymore.
Exhale 1 — Release tension
Exhale 2 — Release fear
Exhale 3 — Release control
You’re clearing spiritual clutter.
3. Sacred Appointment (5 minutes). Choose one small pleasure that restores you — a walk, a cup of tea without screens, a 10-minute journal. Schedule it on your calendar right now and protect it as sacred.
4. The Becoming Declaration (spoken out loud). Finish with this affirmation:
“I choose alignment over anxiety.
I choose clarity over confusion.
I choose becoming over performing.”
Your words are spiritual technology.
They teach your body how to feel, your mind how to think, and your energy how to rise.
5-minute Journaling Prompt
Set your timer for 5 minutes and write:
“What do I need to release to think, believe, and live like my future self?”
Don’t censor it.
Let the truth come out in ink.

A Mindset Reset around money isn’t just about numbers. It’s about narrative.
Today, try this simple exercise:
Write down one limiting money belief (for example: “I never have enough.”)
Then rewrite it into a faith-filled, grounded truth (for example: “I’m learning to steward what I have with wisdom and intention.”)
Now here’s the key:
Pair that new belief with one tiny action today:
Move $5–$20 into savings
Pay a small extra amount on a bill
Spend 10 minutes learning about a financial topic
Faith shifts the belief.
Action anchors it.

Goal: Make Room for Your Mindset Reset
For the next 7 days, do one tiny thing to clear space for the new you:
Day 1: Declutter one small space (desk, purse, nightstand)
Day 2: Unfollow 3 social accounts that drain you
Day 3: Cancel or pause one obligation that no longer aligns
Day 4: Spend 10 minutes reviewing your bank or budget—without judging yourself
Day 5: Replace one negative thought with a new truth
Day 6: Take a 10-minute walk with no phone, just breathing and listening
Day 7: Write down 3 ways your mindset has already shifted this month
Small moves, big momentum.
Deeper exercise — Two-minute Naming
(10 minutes total)
Grab your journal and create two columns:
Column 1: “Current Me”
Write 5–7 statements that reflect how you think and live right now.
(Ex: “I overthink decisions,” “I’m scared to look at my money,” “I say yes when I’m tired.”)
Column 2: “Becoming Me”
Rewrite each statement into the version you’re growing into.
(Ex: “I make thoughtful decisions with clarity,” “I check in with my money with curiosity, not fear,” “I honor my energy and say yes with intention.”)
This exercise prepares your mind for the deeper work we’ll do together in Mindset Reset – Part 3.
