A note from Wanda:

––––––––––––––––––––

One of the quietest lies many people inherit is the belief that they are only allowed to be one thing.

One career.

One identity.

One version of success.

For some, this belief is spoken aloud. For others, it is absorbed through family expectations, culture, education, or tradition. Over time, we begin to believe that changing direction means failure or that exploring another gift somehow diminishes the one we already have.

But life rarely works that way.

A teacher can also be an entrepreneur.
An accountant can also be an artist.
A parent can also become a writer.
A scientist can also be deeply spiritual.

None of these identities cancel one another. They simply reveal different expressions of the same person.

Sometimes we confuse stability with staying small. We convince ourselves that responsibility requires suppressing curiosity, creativity, or growth. Yet growth does not always demand abandoning what is working. Sometimes it simply asks us to stop shrinking the parts of ourselves that have been waiting patiently for room to breathe.

Expansion is rarely reckless.

More often, it begins quietly.

A class.
A journal.
A side project.
A conversation.

A single hour each week devoted to something that reminds you who you are beyond the title on your business card.

The question is not whether you should become someone else.

The question is whether you have stopped allowing yourself to become more of who you already are.

Growth is not betrayal.

It is permission.

The Invitation

If you’re sitting with something similar, you might hold this question softly:
Where have I convinced myself that I can only be one thing—and what part of me is quietly asking for room to grow?
No rush. I’ll share the companion episode on Wednesday when it’s live.

One Gentle Link

If you’d like to stay with this a little longer, here’s one gentle place to listen when you’re ready.
The companion episode for this letter will be shared on Wednesday when it’s live.

That’s it for this week.

Be gentle with the work. Sometimes the next chapter of your life isn’t about replacing your current path.

It’s about allowing another expression of who you are to exist alongside it.

Keep showing up for you. Keep flowing in freedom! 💜
