Small Decisions, Deep Liberation
Welcome
Hi — I’m Wanda.
Thank you for joining Liberating Living Weekly. Welcome to Part B of reclaiming your inner authority. Last week we recognized what was lost; this week we move toward walking freely with the authority we’re regaining. Today’s edition focuses on practicing small acts of trust, choosing love, and aligning money to support bold next steps. These are everyday muscles—built by tiny, faithful acts. Let’s do the work together.. Why listen: Practical rituals + hard-won steps to free your spirit and move your money with clarity. Below are three practical spiritual practices, one simple money move, a podcast pick, and how to join our waitlist for programs and scholarships.

Why This Matters
Owning inner authority isn’t about arrogance — it’s about aligning action with identity so decisions come from trust rather than coercion. Research on autonomy and emotion regulation shows that pairing body-based practice, naming, and cognitive reappraisal with concrete behavioral experiments (including financial steps) increases sustained change and reduces relapse into old scripts. Building small financial rituals (automatic transfers, micro-budgets) reduces anxiety and creates a felt sense of security that supports courageous choices. Financial therapy and evidence-based behavior-change methods converge here: small predictable steps beat occasional big promises. The Guardian
Spiritual Practices
1. Step & Declare (3–5 minutes). Stand with feet hip-width. Take three grounding breaths (inhale 4 / exhale 6). Take one slow step forward and say aloud: “I step from fear into love.” Notice the weight shift in your feet and how your body supports the choice. Take a second step and say: “I trust the Spirit within me.” Take a third step and say: “I choose one brave, small act this week.” Write that act as a one-line commitment on your phone.
Variation (seated): Lift one foot or tap the toe as a “step” while speaking each declaration.
Journal cue: One line — “My one small brave act this week is ___.”
2. Ground, Name, Release (5–8 minutes). Sit or stand. Place one hand on your belly and one on your heart. Breathe for six slow cycles (inhale 4 / exhale 6). On an exhale, whisper the single word that most often drives your obedience (for example: prove, enough, please). On the next inhale, imagine a warm light in your sternum; on the exhale imagine that light expanding and gently loosening the hold of the named word. Finish by saying softly: “This is not my final word.” Rest your hand on your heart for two full breaths.
Variation (3-minute): One breath cycle + one naming + one breath of light.
Journal cue: Write the named word + one line: “Who would I be if this were not true?”
3. Sacred Ledger & Appointment (7–10 minutes). Open a small notebook or phone note titled “Sacred Ledger.” Spend two minutes listing small financial or boundary moves you’ve avoided because of fear (charging for your time, saying no, investing in training). Circle one item you can do this week. Schedule a tiny sacred appointment (15–30 minutes) on your calendar to take that step (or to plan it) and protect it as non-negotiable. Close by depositing a small symbolic amount ($1–$5) into your Trust/Courage Fund and say aloud: “This is my vote for my next self.”
Variation (fast): Set the $5 automation now and say your one-line affirmation when you press confirm.
Journal cue: One line — “The financial/boundary step I will take is ___ (date/time).”
5-minute Journaling Prompt
Set a timer for five minutes and write in short sentences:
What “should” did I notice today? (Name it.)
Where did I first learn this should? (Person, place, or feeling.)
What is one tiny counter-truth I can speak to myself this week?
What is the one small action (≤ 20 minutes) I will take in the next 48 hours to honor that counter-truth?
Write the answers and text or tell your accountability partner.

Align $ with Purpose

If you set up the Authority/Trust Fund last week, plan a first-use: a small deposit to join a class, book, or coaching call that supports your next step. If you didn’t, set it up now and make the first $5 transfer.
Track the emotion: write one sentence after your transaction describing how it felt (empowering, anxious, hopeful). Logging the feeling helps rewire money scripts.
Tip: If a purchase feels risky, commit to a small refundable or low-cost resource first (a 1-hour consult, an ebook) — the key is action.

7-Day Micro-Challenge
Move + Journal + Fund
Goal: do daily micro-practices that build confidence and log Courage/Trust Fund uses.
Day | Practice Done (Y/N) | One-line Journal | Trust Fund Action |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | Took one small step (describe) | Transfer $5 or set up fund | |
2 | Declared a choice aloud | ||
3 | Did the step for 20 minutes | ||
4 | Noted resistance and wrote it | ||
5 | Shared success with partner | ||
6 | Used fund for a small support expense | Withdraw & log | |
7 | Review: what changed? Next brave step | Plan next step |
Deeper exercise — Mini-Experiment
(20-30 minutes)
Pick a small brave experiment (call a mentor, apply for a role, record a short video, set a boundary). Do it within 48 hours. Afterward, journal:
What happened?
What went as expected? Surprising?
What inner voice showed up? How did you respond?
What’s one micro-adjustment you’ll make next time?
These micro-experiments create evidence that your inner authority works in the world.
